Theses
If you are interested in writing your bachelor's, master's, or diploma thesis with our group, please, consider the following information (independent of whether you plan to write your thesis in cooperation with an external company or not):
- If you already have a rough idea of a potential topic: Typically, we will only supervise theses which are at least closely related to our research areas. These will usually be concerned with the development and assessment of geo-distributed systems and applications in the context of cloud, edge, and fog computing. Send us an email and sketch out briefly your course specialization, why you seek supervision of your thesis by MCC and attach a list of completed courses and an overview of relevant practical experience (e.g., in the form of a CV).
- If you are interested in one of our announced open thesis topics (will be announced soon, so stay tuned!), please contact the group member mentioned in the topic description directly. Please sketch out briefly your course specialization and why you are interested in the topic. Furthermore, please also attach a list of completed courses and an overview of relevant practical experience (e.g., in the form of a CV).
- If you are interested in our research topics but have no idea which concrete area might interest you: Please, do not hesitate to email one of our group members. Give a short description of your course specialization, why you are interested in our research area and which area in particular and attach a list of completed courses and an overview of relevant practical experience (e.g., in the form of a CV).
